The older wood gets, the darker it gets. Since the raw material we use is over 150 years old, it comes to us very dark. As a result, we don’t need to stain anything [only clearcoat]. The less we sand, the darker the table will be. This Hemlock trestle table<\/a> we made for a customer in Oakville is a sample of our medium sanding out of the raw material.<\/h1>\n
