We had been looking for a suitably stylish, rustic table after a two month reno of our new house and we'd seen examples of both expensive and cheap rubbish. Then we found your website and arranged a visit to your showroom. Within minutes of entering the showroom - we knew we had to have one of your tables - I think it was the combination of the wonderfully smooth, hardwearing finish, the marvellous detail of the unique, antique timber and the obvious craftsmanship that went into the tables. We paid our deposit, decided on a more rustic look and chose the style of legs and went home thrilled that we had decided on paying a little bit more for something really special. This was not an instant gratification purchase - we were having something hand made specially for us. I loved that you sent us photos of the unfinished table, and had complete faith that once it was finished, it would be darker than the photos. Delivery was scheduled for 10 days later and our table was assembled in the kitchen - where it really looks lovely. I can't stop touching it - it feels amazing - yet you can still see the detail of the knot holes, cracks and tooling marks deep under the finish - and yes it is darker than the photos. Dealing with HD was really simple, and very pleasant - we chose what we wanted - and it turned up a few weeks later - expectations fully met!
