Everything we do is custom built, so we can modify our builds to your exact requirements. For this reclaimed wood desk project, the customer had an oddly shaped space but really needed to make it functional within given space limitations. To seat 2 people at the ends of a table, consider a 48″ width [as opposed to standard 42]. The general guideline for seating is 2 ft table length/person based on roughly 19″ chair width. The colour of our tables comes from the old patina in the barnwood we use. The older wood gets, the darker it gets. Since the wood we use is over 150 years, there’s already a lot of colour to work with. Our unique epoxy + polyurethane finish allows us to keep this patina and not have to sand it out for smoothness.
