Our reclaimed wood hutches are built using old Ontario barnwood. For hutches we use the interior grainery room boards. We keep nearly all the original distressing, but make practical with a thick polyurethane clearcoat finish. Continue reading →

Depending on the colour you’re going for in the space, a painted option may be the best option. While not the natural colour, the tightness of the old wood grain is still visible, and the texture of the original is maintained. Continue reading →

A reclaimed wood hutch is a great way to add lots of storage capacity. Our custom hutches can be made of any combination of drawers, doors & shelves. For these we primarily use interior 1′ boards from the barn [grainery board] Our design is very straight lines; and we don’t stain [only natural wood] so these will fit in virtually any style of space.
