Many of the elements of our tables can be modified as we custom build. For this reclaimed wood pedestal table, the customer opted for curved profile feet instead our typical straight lines option. We also did an extra thick 3″ joist material top option as well. The historical character of pioneer work comes through the wood with amount of distressing we keep. See pics below!

Many assume that you can only have skirting on a harvest [4 leg style]. While it’s true most often only harvest tables have the skirting [given the legs are generally bolted into the skirting], we can do skirting on post styles as well. Most often this is to add drawers. The Beamsville reclaimed wood pedestal table project was a classic example of this:

To seat 2 people at the ends of a table, consider a 48″ width [as opposed to standard 42]. The general guideline for seating is 2 ft table length/person based on roughly 19″ chair width.
