Narrow Reclaimed Wood Table in Hamilton Condo

For customers who want to feel all the original distressing we keep in the raw material, we offer a polyurethane topcoat with no epoxy. Here’s an example of this finish on a plank base table we did for a Hamilton customer. The only downside to this finish is without the epoxy the table will be a bit trickier to clean. See pics below!

6 ftÂ Reclaimed Hemlock Trestle Table in Oakville, Ontario

The older wood gets, the darker it gets. Since the raw material we use is over 150 years old, it comes to us very dark. As a result, we don’t need to stain anything [only clearcoat]. The less we sand, the darker the table will be. This Hemlock trestle table we made for a customer in Oakville is a sample of our medium sanding out of the raw material.

We keep nearly all the original distressing in the raw material. This is what provides the unique look of our tables. The best strategy for chairs is to make the table top the centrepiece.
