Reclaimed Wood Restaurant Tops: A Finish That Stands Up
We keep nearly all the original distressing from the wood we reclaim. This means, at the unfinished stage, our tops are very rough. However, it doesn’t stop there! We the fill with a durable, waterproof finish – namely, epoxy. Polyurethane then reduces the shine.
As a consequence, we frequently create whole tables or just tops for restaurants.
An option that is available to our restaurant clients is the burning of a logo/graphic into the table top. In these cases, we basically make a branding tool, heat it, and then imprint the graphic into the table top. See pictures below for a sample of table tops we did for a Kitchener, Ontario banquet hall!
